Arizona Southwest Community PBX (AZSW PBX) Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern participation in and use of the Arizona Southwest Community (“AZSW,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our Discord community, telephone and PBX services, voicemail, support systems, bots, and other community resources.

AZSW takes the safety, security, and well-being of our community very seriously. We are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, respectful, and secure environment. Conduct that threatens our members, compromises accounts or systems, disrupts communities, or places others at risk may result in immediate action.

By accessing, joining, or using AZSW services, you agree to follow these Terms.

1. Age Requirements

AZSW PBX services and community resources are available to users who are 13 years of age or older, or who meet the higher minimum age required by applicable law.

Users must provide accurate information regarding their age and must not misrepresent or falsify their age to access AZSW PBX services, community resources, or features.

AZSW PBX may restrict or terminate access if it determines that an account does not meet the applicable minimum age requirement.

2. Community Services

AZSW provides community and communication services for its members. These may include Discord servers and channels, telephone extensions, PBX calling features, voicemail, general voicemail, call routing, support cases, bots, announcements, and other community resources.

Features and services may be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued as AZSW develops and maintains its community.

AZSW may take reasonable measures to protect the safety, security, reliability, and integrity of these services and the people who use them.

3. Safety and Community Protection

Safety is a priority at AZSW. Members are expected to treat others respectfully and refrain from conduct that could reasonably threaten the safety, privacy, security, or well-being of another person or community.

AZSW takes reports involving threats, harassment, bullying, account compromise, malicious activity, raids, server nuking, credential theft, malware, or other serious safety and security concerns seriously.

When AZSW reasonably believes that a person, account, bot, integration, or activity presents a safety or security risk, administrators and moderators may take immediate protective action. This may include removing content, restricting permissions, locking channels, disabling integrations, resetting credentials, suspending accounts, or permanently removing users.

Safety and security concerns may warrant immediate action without prior warning.

4. Acceptable Use

Users must use AZSW services responsibly, respectfully, safely, and lawfully.

Users may not:

AZSW may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the community, its members, other communities, or its systems.

5. Discord Raiding and Server Nuking

AZSW has a zero-tolerance policy for intentional Discord server nuking and destructive raids.

“Nuking” includes intentionally destroying, severely disrupting, defacing, or taking unauthorized control of a Discord server. Examples include mass deletion of channels or roles, destructive permission changes, mass bans or kicks, malicious or unauthorized bot or webhook activity, destruction of server configurations, or similar deliberate destructive actions.

This rule applies whether the targeted server is AZSW or another Discord server or online community.

Members who organize, perform, coordinate, knowingly assist, or materially participate in such activity may be immediately suspended or permanently removed from AZSW without prior warning.

6. Discord Community Conduct

Members are expected to follow applicable AZSW community rules in addition to these Terms.

Members must also comply with the applicable rules and Discord Terms of Service when using Discord.

AZSW administrators and moderators may take reasonable moderation actions to maintain the safety, security, integrity, and operation of the community.

Moderation decisions may consider the severity of the conduct, risk to other members, previous violations, evidence available to moderators, and the need to protect the community.

7. Telephone and PBX Services

AZSW may provide telephone extensions, voicemail boxes, ring groups, calling features, and other PBX functionality.

Users must not use AZSW telephone services to harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, spam, or otherwise harm another person.

Telephone service availability is not guaranteed. Calls or features may become unavailable because of Internet outages, power failures, maintenance, equipment problems, software issues, configuration changes, third-party outages, or circumstances outside AZSW's control.

Users should not rely on AZSW PBX services as their sole means of communication.

8. Emergency Calling

We unfortunately do not have 911 services, as this is a Community PBX. We cannot add emergency 911 calling. You must use a mobile phone to dial 911 in case of an emergency.

9. Voicemail

AZSW may provide personal, shared, and general voicemail boxes.

Callers may be asked to provide their name, reason for calling, 10-digit telephone number, extension, or other information reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry.

Messages left in the AZSW General Voicemail Box may generate a case for follow-up.

Leaving a voicemail does not guarantee a particular response time, outcome, or resolution.

Passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account information, authentication codes, or other highly sensitive information should not be left in voicemail messages.

Misuse of voicemail—including harassment, threats, spam, or intentionally abusive messages—is Strictly prohibited. Also, Since we take safety very seriously, we have the right to record voicemail boxes for the Community Safety, and our own Safety.

Members are responsible for protecting accounts, passwords, voicemail PINs, telephone extensions, Discord credentials, and other credentials assigned to or controlled by them.

Members must not knowingly share protected credentials with unauthorized individuals.

Members should promptly report suspected account compromises, stolen credentials, suspicious login activity, compromised bots, or other security concerns to AZSW administration.

AZSW may reset credentials, revoke sessions, disable extensions, restrict accounts, remove bots or integrations, change permissions, or take other reasonable security measures when necessary.

Users must not knowingly assist another person in bypassing an AZSW suspension, ban, security restriction, or other enforcement action.

10. Privacy

Use of AZSW services is subject to the Arizona Southwest Community Privacy Policy.

AZSW systems may process information associated with community participation, calls, voicemail messages, support cases, accounts, moderation, security incidents, and system operations as described in that policy.

AZSW seeks to limit access to information to those who reasonably need it for administration, support, safety, security, or other legitimate community purposes.

11. System and Security Records

AZSW systems may generate operational and security information such as telephone numbers, extensions, caller ID information, call times and durations, routing information, voicemail information, account activity, IP addresses, authentication attempts, moderation activity, and technical logs.

Such information may be used for administration, troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, enforcement of these Terms, and investigation of suspected violations or security incidents.

Where reasonably appropriate, AZSW may preserve relevant records concerning serious safety incidents, suspected unauthorized access, malicious activity, or violations of these Terms.

12. Reporting Safety, Security and Abuse Concerns

Members are encouraged to report serious safety, security, or abuse concerns to AZSW administration.

Reports should be made in good faith and should include relevant information when available.

Knowingly submitting fabricated evidence or deliberately false reports for the purpose of harassing, retaliating against, or causing enforcement against another person is prohibited.

AZSW may review available information before determining what action, if any, is appropriate. However, AZSW may take temporary protective action while a serious safety or security concern is being reviewed.

13. Support and Cases

AZSW may operate a case or support system for community inquiries, reports, technical issues, and requests.

Voicemails and other communications may generate cases for follow-up.

Submitting a case, support request, report, or voicemail does not guarantee a particular outcome or response time.

Response times may vary based on availability, urgency, complexity, safety considerations, and the nature of the request.

14. Enforcement, Suspension and Termination

AZSW may issue warnings, restrict features or permissions, temporarily suspend access, or permanently remove a user for violations of these Terms or applicable community rules.

The appropriate action will depend on the circumstances. AZSW may consider the seriousness of the violation, potential harm to others, whether conduct was intentional, previous violations, and ongoing safety or security risks.

Serious conduct—including credible threats, intentional server nuking, destructive raids, credential theft, malicious compromise, malware distribution, significant security attacks, or deliberate destruction of another community—may result in immediate permanent removal without prior warning.

Attempts to evade enforcement through alternate accounts or other methods may result in additional accounts being restricted or removed.

Where reasonably appropriate, AZSW may preserve relevant records concerning suspected security incidents or serious violations.

15. Cooperation in Serious Safety or Security Matters

AZSW may cooperate with Discord, telecommunications providers, hosting providers, service providers, or appropriate authorities when reasonably necessary to address serious safety threats, suspected unlawful activity, significant security incidents, or valid legal requirements.

AZSW will not promise confidentiality when doing so would prevent reasonable action to address a serious safety concern or when disclosure is required by law.

16. Service Availability

AZSW does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Services may be interrupted by maintenance, network or Internet outages, power failures, software or hardware problems, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, emergency maintenance, or other circumstances.

AZSW may modify, suspend, replace, restrict, or discontinue services when reasonably necessary, including when doing so is necessary to protect the safety or security of the community.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

AZSW services are provided on an “as available” basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AZSW does not guarantee that its services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or appropriate for every purpose.

AZSW's commitment to community safety does not constitute a guarantee that all harmful, abusive, malicious, or inappropriate conduct will be prevented.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AZSW and its administrators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use AZSW services.

This may include losses associated with service interruptions, missed calls, unavailable voicemail, network outages, equipment failures, software failures, third-party service interruptions, or delayed responses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. Changes to These Terms

AZSW may update these Terms as its community, technology, policies, safety practices, security requirements, or services change.

The effective date at the beginning of these Terms identifies the current version.

Continued use of AZSW services after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms where permitted by applicable law.

20. Unauthorized Unban or Reinstatement Messages

Users must not send messages, voicemails, emails, or SMS text messages, Including phone calls falsely claiming that a banned, suspended, or removed user will be unbanned, reinstated, or have their enforcement action reversed.

Only authorized AZSW PBX administrators or the appropriate official department may communicate an official decision regarding a ban, suspension, appeal, or reinstatement.

If a user receives a message claiming that they will be unbanned or reinstated, they should not rely on the message unless it has been confirmed through an official AZSW PBX communication channel.

Unauthorized or misleading unban or reinstatement messages may result in enforcement action, including suspension or termination of access to AZSW PBX services.
